Belgian cyclist Roy Sentjens has been provisionally suspended and removed from the Spanish Vuelta after testing positive for the banned endurance-boosting hormone EPO. The International Cycling Union says Sentjens tested positive in an out-of-competition urine sample taken on Aug. 16. New Zealand track cyclist Adam Stewart has been banned for two years for attempting to use a banned substance. Stewart, a sprinter who was due to race at October's Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, was banned by New Zealand's Sports Tribunal on Thursday for the attempted use of erythropoietin (EPO) and for possession of human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG). link
